Shea works with Bigelow’s Engagement Leaders, Directors, Vice Presidents and Associates across all aspects of our M&A engagements for Entrepreneur Owner-Managers™ clients. His responsibilities include financial analysis and modeling, industry and market research, preparation of transaction materials, and supporting the execution of client engagements.

Shea first joined Bigelow as an Investment Banking M&A Summer Analyst in 2025, where he gained experience working on client engagements across a variety of industries. During his time with the Firm, he contributed to growth modeling, investor research, client positioning, and transaction analysis, as well as exploring emerging AI solutions to enhance the Firm’s operational efficiency and decision-making.

Previously, Shea had spent a summer with Cerberus Capital Management, where he supported technology and investment initiatives, including financial modeling, market research, and development of tools designed to improve decision-making and streamline the review of M&A materials.

Shea graduated magna cum laude from Elon University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurship.

Shea is FINRA licensed Series 79.

• What do you love most about EOMs?

  How they are endless teachers. Every conversation brings a new lesson, and the learning never stops. People interact with thousands of businesses every day, often without thinking about how they came to be—EOMs give you the chance to hear the stories behind them.

• What was your first job?

  For a few summers, as well as some weekends in the fall and winter, I worked on a commercial lobster boat. My job was to rebait the traps as they were hauled in, filling empty bait bags and getting them ready to go back overboard.

• Favorite subject in school / high school?

  Biology. I’ve always been fascinated by the living world: how organisms work, how everything is interconnected, and how even the smallest processes can have an impact on the larger system.

• If you could possess one super-human power, what would it be?

  The ability to breathe underwater indefinitely. I’ve always loved the ocean and would use this ability to explore its depths, discover places few people have ever seen, and experience marine life up close without being limited by time or equipment.
