Kelly T. McCarthy

Chief Financial Officer

Kelly's ability to see inefficiencies and improve upon them both from the financial and organizational perspective are a huge value-add to Bigelow. She is the definition of a results-driven leader.

Kelly likes to be thought of as an “Operational CFO,” learning all there is to know about the business and industry in order to partner with other business leaders and increase productivity, efficiency, and profitability.  As CFO she is a key member of the leadership team and plays a significant role in running the day-to-day business and in achieving both the business and owner objectives.  She is responsible for leading all internal and administrative functions related to Accounting and Tax, Compliance, Vendor Management, Human Resources, and IT.

Prior to joining Bigelow, Kelly held executive level positions within the finance teams at several organizations for more than the last 15 years.  Most recently she was Sr. Director of Global FP&A at Covetrus, a $5 billion publicly held animal health technologies and distribution company.  Prior to that, Kelly was CFO and VP of Business Development at MATEP, an Infrastructure Fund-owned Utility that served the five major hospitals in the Longwood Medical Area (LMA) of Boston.

Kelly earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics (now known as  the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics) at the University of New Hampshire. She also has her Certified Public Accountant designation.
