Keller Companies, Structures Unlimited, and Kalwall Corporation ("Kalwall") announced they have been acquired by Apogee Enterprises, Inc. ("Apogee", Nasdaq: APOG), a leading provider of architectural building products and services. Kalwall is a U.S. based, vertically integrated manufacturer of high-performance translucent daylighting solutions, recognized for its innovation and 71-year brand reputation. Kalwall will be integrated into Apogee's Architectural Glass segment. This transaction is the successful culmination of an initiative led by Bigelow LLC.
Founded in 1955 by Robert Keller and built over three generations of family ownership, Kalwall pioneered the translucent daylighting system. Today it serves architects, building owners, and contractors across a wide range of building types through a portfolio of category-leading brands — Kalwall®, Structures Unlimited, and Kal-lite® — each a recognized leader in its application. In addition to Kalwall, the Keller family has owned multiple successful businesses over the past 70 years.
