Optikos Corporation (“Optikos”) announced it has been recapitalized by Artemis Capital Partners (“Artemis”), a Boston-based private equity firm. Optikos provides complete optical solutions from concept through production leveraging its advanced engineering services, precision manufacturing capabilities, and world-class metrology products. This transaction is the successful culmination of an initiative led by Bigelow LLC.
Founded in 1982 and based in Wakefield, Massachusetts, Optikos has excelled in its mission to “achieve the impossible with optics.” The Company is known for its expertise in lens design, imaging performance measurement, and optical system integration, enabling teams to de-risk complex optical programs and meet demanding technical requirements.
