The Entwistle Company (“Entwistle”) announced it has been acquired by NTC Group (“NTC”). Entwistle is a leading manufacturer of highly-engineered products and mission critical systems for the U.S. military. NTC is a privately-owned investment firm, primarily focused on aerospace & defense, government contracting, and manufacturing businesses. This transaction is the successful culmination of an initiative led by Bigelow LLC.
Founded in 1918 and headquartered in Hudson, Massachusetts, Entwistle (www.entwistleco.com) designs and manufactures a wide range of products primarily for the U.S. Navy and Air Force. The company currently has over 20 programs in production and operates out of 310,000 sq. ft. in its Hudson, MA and Danville, VA facilities. Its capabilities span engineering design, precision machining, welding, assembly & testing, and finishing.
